Students investigated the process of sublimation as frozen carbon dioxide skips the liquid phase and turns into a gas at room temperature.
Students engaged in the activity as carbon dioxide went through a physical change from being frozen as a solid and then becoming a gas at room temperature.
With this activity, students were introduced to what a physical change is and the process of sublimation.
