Intro to Magnets

Thurs, Feb 17th 2022

Students learned the basic's of magnetic concepts while also having the opportunity to build one on their own.

With this demonstration, students uncovered the fundamental concepts of magnetism including electronic spin, repelling & attracting forces, and fields of direction .

In addition, students were exposed to the facilities and aims of the National High Field Magnetic Laboratory.

Meeting Guest

Guiding the Thursday meeting was National High Magnetic Field Laboratory Educator, Carlos Villa. Mr. Villa aided us in teaching the students about the essential principles of magnets.
