Spaghetti Bridges

Fri, April 1st 2022

Students were challenged to design a bridge out of raw spaghetti that could withstand the weight of eight pounds!

The spaghetti bridge project proved to be a versatile activity that allowed us to introduce to students material sciences and fluid dynamics, not to mention, important concepts like weight distribution, tension, and compression.

Students utilized entrepreneurial mindsets like problem solving, resourcefulness, and adaptability all in one hands-on activity!
