We conducted a series of activities exploring the effects of water's polarity:
Water Drops on Penny Challenge: cohesion in action
Water Defying Gravity: air pressure and adhesion in action
Magic Pepper and Soap: surface tension in action
Floating Ink: liquid water's high density in action
We were able to demonstrate and discuss with the students the water's fundamental properties, including water's cohesive and adhesive properties and water's high surface tension.
