Marshmellow Catapult

Students were challenged to design a catapult using materials we provided to launch a mini-marshmallow as far as they can.
The catapult project proved to be a versatile activity that allowed us to introduce to students material sciences and fluid dynamics, not to mention, the difficult challenge placed emphasis on the engineering design process
Students utilized entrepreneurial mindsets like problem solving, resourcefulness, and adaptability all in one hands-on activity!
